Our group is a leader in medical quality assurance and document consolidation services and is currently seeking several medical professionals for an immediate start as medical records transcriptionist / quality assurance physician.

As no patient contact occurs, no medical license is required; however, medical training and experience is essential.

This challenging position is ideal for physicians or medical graduates who are transitioning out of clinical practice, are waiting to get into residency, or are looking to earn additional income whilst practicing or during residency, or international medical graduates with excellent English who are preparing for their USMLE board exams.

We offer an independent contractor opportunity that allows you to set your own schedule as long as you are able to deliver reliable work and volume. We provide an intellectually nurturing environment, support and initial training by your peers, and as much work as you would like to take on.

Compensation is on a per case basis, and the more proficient a medical records reviewer gets, the better the earning potential.

As a medical records transcriptionist, your tasks include to summarize and condense medical records for further perusal by board-certified doctors who you will be working in close liaison with. In addition, once a sufficient level of proficiency has been demonstrated, your task will also include final quality assurance on medical reports from board-certified medical doctors.

Interviews are held on Skype, and immediate openings are available for the right candidates.

This is not an easy job - but it is an excellent opportunity to work in a clinical setting with high intellectual demands without requiring an active medical license.
This is not a clerical job – you need medical training and solid medical reasoning,

To excel as a medical records quality assurance physician, you need to bring:
- solid medical training
- dedication
- excellent command of written English
- computer proficiency. Being a fast typer helps!
- team spirit. There is a lot to learn.
- ability to work at least 20 hours a week
