Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies.
The Senior Vice President for Human Resources will be a member of the regional leadership team and serve as a key business partner to drive strategic and tactical HR leadership.
This is a full-time job, work-from-home.
Guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire Planate in different site locations.
The major areas directed are: recruiting and staffing; organizational planning; performance management and improvement systems; organization development; employment and compliance to regulatory concerns; employee orientation, development, and training; policy development and documentation; employee relations; company-wide committee facilitation; company employee and community communication; compensation and benefits administration; employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; charitable giving; and employee services and counseling.
Drive HR processes such as staffing, performance management, salary planning, organizational effectiveness, employee coaching, development, and communication; initiate and lead innovative HR programs and practices to drive employee satisfaction and retention; partner with management to provide strategic support.
Qualifications To be successful in the role:
Degree holder, preferably in Human Resources Management, Law, or Psychology.
Preferably with a master’s degree in business administration and /or human resources.
At least fifteen (15) years’ experience in a related field
At least eight (10) years of people management experience
With US HR experience
