POSITION OVERVIEW

The Market Researcher is responsible for providing market research and analysis on industry sectors and markets, including customers, market trends, and competitors. The Market Researcher will be assigned to prepare short-form quotes and proposals, and create marketing materials to be used by the client.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Duties include but are not limited to research and specialized business services as required; communicates and maintains coordination with internal and external clients and/or stakeholders to ensure effective data gathering and to develop meaningful and relevant insights
• Provide research, analysis, and editing support to the Business Development Team to maintain database content and ensure the completeness and accuracy of marketing data
• Survey the external surroundings that will allow the company to gain understanding of the behavior of our target market therefore leading an expansion of the organization's market share
• Manage a database of prospect clients to assist the business development team in a building sales pipeline.
• Write and formulate highly professional proposals for prospects in various industries Prepare corporate documents for business and marketing use
• Work closely with the Business Development Team, Operations Manager, and other customer-facing consultants to deliver key outcomes for the marketing side of the business
• Communicate with stakeholders and staff members with empathy, compassion, and professionalism
• Demonstrate excellent customer and team member service reflecting on the client’s values
• Produce correspondence including meetings and various forms of communication in a timely manner without errors
• Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for market research, analysis, report writing, review, and approval
• Ensure all documentation required are prepared and delivered within established deadlines
• Keep diary up-to-date
• Organize, store, and archive paperwork in line with requirements
• Ensure that requirements are implemented and maintained
• Any other task/duty as directed by client/management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the related role.
• Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree, preferably any Business or Marketing related course
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Knowledge of MS Project an advantage)
• With research, general document management and publication skills
• Effective in excellent (written and oral) communication and presentation skill
• Can generate creative ideas and outputs based on the assigned tasks
• Willing to be trained and has the right attitude towards work and colleagues
• Can deal with clients comfortably and confidently at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank
• Ability to deal with different types of people across all levels within the organization
• Solid business understanding and acumen
• Exceptional time management and work prioritization skills with the ability to switch between issues as required
• Must be detail-oriented, has good judgment and should be able to think strategically
• Strong commitment to service and a flexible can-do attitude to respond to client and business needs
• Exhibits a high degree of professionalism
