Social Media Specialist (BGC)

compensation: TBD

will be assisting in efficiently maintaining an essential element of the patient experience: engaging patients to build brand reputation, equity and build relationships on social media for each of hospital brands.

Functional Area Outcomes and Expectations
• Best Practices & Strategy
o Drive innovative approach to organic and paid social media, enjoys learning and driving new innovative campaigns
o Work in collaboration with the team to develop best practices for event marketing and Live Stream events
o Able to effectively communicate best practices, teach strategy and lead local campaigns in coordination with each market’s business needs
o Provide excellent support for Tenet healthcare marketers’ and communications teams’ requests to apply new or updated content to social media channels
• Social Media Execution
o Experience with social media strategy development and execution with agencies to drive performance
o Strong understanding of social media advertising from media strategy, planning, monitoring, optimization to reporting
o Apply code for tracking capabilities, such as UTMs for URLs , and configure related reporting
o Comfort with social media marketing technology and publishing platforms including content management systems, hootsuite, meltwater, talkwalker, Google Analytics
o Strong business acumen and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
o Ability to work independently, be coachable, and work within a matrixed organization.
• Administration
o Maintain ticket management and status reporting efficiently

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
• 1-3 years related experience
• Extreme attention to detail and focus on zero-defect execution
• Strong interest in exploring and applying modern day media platforms and the tools used to engage consumers
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all areas and levels of the company
• Efficient – Passion for moving faster, producing more, and identifying solutions for major improvements; loves to identify bottlenecks and fix them through collaboration
• Self-motivated- Outcomes-focused individual who holds herself/himself to a high performance standard, but maintains a sense of proportion and humor
• Authentic- Has deep integrity and holds personal and professional values consistent with Tenet’s mission, vision and values
Preferred:
• Prefer Experience with Google Analytics
• Prefer experience with Hootsuite and other social media management platforms
• Prefer experience managing digital marketing campaigns and healthcare related marketing
Preferred Education: Marketing, Public Relations or Digital Marketing related degree
Preferred Working hours: 3 PM – 12 PM
