Content Operations Specialist (Bonifacio Global City)

The Content Ops Specialist is responsible for all tasks inherent to the Content Ops workflow from the time new
content is acquired to content being uploaded to the HOOQ platform for playback.

The role is critical in supporting the delivery of content (both in the original and localized versions) that will contribute to increase viewer engagement through delivery of enriched content. Each Executive is assigned a specific territory and works with the local content teams to execute their respective content strategy.

Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

Responsible for monitoring end-to-end process of all content operational and localization work with a team
Gain familiarity with the requirements and expectations of assigned market when it comes to content (to include localization).
Work closely with local content teams to assess needs and plan for solutions.
Maintain knowledge and understanding of all localization (subs and dubs) and other content methodologies and initiate efficiency initiatives when applicable.
Validate the Content Ops Form from Content Acquisition against ingested content to ensure that: a) license date information is accurate; b) metadata is complete; c) localization requirements are listed; d) deal is recorded properly.
Collaborate with Content Acquisition to remedy any of the missing information.
Manage and track delivery of posters from Content Team.
Track the delivery of actual assets from CP’s to include but not limited to: video files; trailers (if applicable); localized materials (subs and dubs – where available).
Validate accuracy of formats for videos, poster, metadata and other applicable/available assets for each movie and TV episodes delivered to HOOQ for Hollywood and local content.
Manage the established Content Ops process to ensure successful ingestion of materials on HOOQ platform.
Liaise with the Tech Team to resolve any issues related to content platforms.
Attend and support resolution of Customer Service cases related to Content Ingestion, Localization and other Content Ops related issues. This includes cases related or submitted by partners
Support video files requests from Marketing.
Initiate and monitor localization requests with the respective vendors.
Ensure that localized materials are processed for ingestion.
Manage project financial and ensure adherence to project budgets. This includes obtaining quotes for all projects (with the exception of repeat engagements), track delivery and processing of invoices from vendors.
Support Ad-hoc activities related to Content Ops.

Qualifications and Experience Needed

Candidate must possess at least a University Degree
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Required Skill(s): Inovative, Creative, Problem Solver, Flexible
Experience in OTT video business model and in specific Asian emerging
markets would be good to have.
Prior Content Ops/Entertainment experience is required.
