Key Responsibilities (may change over time):
- Test web, and mobile solutions as needed.
- Create test cases and test case documentation with limited guidance.
- Run through test cases and identify both bugs as well as potential usability issues.
- Try to reproduce issues and clearly document how to replicate them.
- Suggest potential solutions to engineering.
- Communicate clearly with engineering to ensure timely fixing of issues.
- Support quality control of receipt processing process as needed.
- Engage in customer support cases as needed.
- Strong user advocate
- Self-starter and can work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word and bug tracking tools
- Strong grasp of web, cloud/SaaS, and mobile technologies
- Understanding of cross-browser issues
- Understanding of technical limitations vs. usability issues
- Understanding of basic accounting processes a plus
- Desire to work in a start-up environment
- Software engineer/coding skills a plus
- Familiarity with Android and iOS a plus
- Access to existing range of key mobile devices a strong plus
