Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile SEO Content Specialist to lead our digital content efforts. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-quality editorial writing and technical search engine optimization. You will be responsible for crafting engaging articles, managing their publication via WordPress, and executing both online (on-page/technical) and offline (off-page) SEO strategies to drive organic growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Article Writing & Content Creation: Produce well-researched, high-quality articles, blog posts, and web copy that align with our brand voice and meet target audience search intent.
• WordPress Management: Directly manage the backend of our WordPress site, including formatting posts, optimizing images, and utilizing SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast, Rank Math) for final publication.
• Online (On-Page) SEO: Perform keyword research, optimize meta titles/descriptions, manage internal linking, and ensure content follows current 2025 search engine guidelines for readability and structure.
• Offline (Off-Page) SEO: Execute link-building campaigns, manage digital PR outreach, and develop strategies for backlink acquisition to improve domain authority.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze traffic and ranking metrics using tools like Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and Ahrefs to refine content strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Writing Expertise: 2+ years of experience in professional article writing or digital journalism with a strong portfolio.
• WordPress Proficiency: Hands-on experience with the WordPress CMS, including Gutenberg/block editors and SEO plugin integration.
• SEO Mastery: Deep understanding of both On-Page SEO (keyword placement, semantic SEO, technical site health) and Off-Page SEO (backlink strategies, local citations, guest posting).
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in SEO industry tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Analytics.
• Analytical Ability: Strong skills in interpreting data to identify content gaps and optimization opportunities.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field (preferred).
