New Lawyers to Render Free Pro Bono Service (Manila)

The Philippines Supreme Court (SC) Article III, Section 11 of the 1987 Constitution has required new lawyers to render free legal services to indigent litigants in a bid to boost public accessibility to courts. All Philippines law graduates are required to provide at least 120 hours of free legal services for poor litigants as part of implementation of the constitutional guarantee to free access to the courts and quasi-judicial bodies.

For all new attorneys reading this, here are 2 cases needing your attention now:

Case 1 : "I am a poor litigant who needs these services because my ex-wife will not allow me any custody or visitation with my children and she is violating my rights. I need a lawyer's help but walang pera and DSWD told me to get a lawyer but walang pera."

Case 2: "Some government officials who work for the Office of the President have collaborated to cheat me, destroy my reputation, and sabotage my business. Although I have filed several complaints with the Office of the Ombudsman and with the government agency in question, these people are very manipulative and have their own free government lawyer to help cover their tracks when it comes to corrupt activities. I cannot fight this kind of corruption without an attorney to represent me but I am now poor because I cannot operate my business since they destroyed it."

New law graduates needed to fight for people's rights. Thanks!
